2-4 inches of snow to fall in north-central Wisconsin

WAUSAU - Folks in central and northeast Wisconsin might want to get their snow shovels ready. Two-to-four-inches are being predicted for tonight, in places where it hit 80-degrees or close to it just a month ago.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 10 tonight until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning for central and northeast Wisconsin.

Forecasters say a low pressure is moving across the region today – and it will bring rain this afternoon before it changes to snow in the northeast quarter of the state tonight. Rain and thunderstorms are expected elsewhere.
