Yanks' Granderson hits three homers in Yankees' win over Twins
Minnesota Sports-- New York's Curtis Granderson went 5-for-5 with three home runs and four-RBIs to lift the Yankees in a 7-6 win over the Twins last night at Yankee Stadium. The two teams split the four-game series.

Mark Teixeira added a two-run dinger for the Bronx Bombers, who split a four-game series with Minnesota at Yankee Stadium. Phil Hughes gave up six runs, but only two earned, through five-and-a-third frames to register the win. Mariano Rivera worked a 1-2-3 ninth to nail down his third save.
Ryan Doumit had a two-run homer and two-run single for Minnesota in a losing effort. Anthony Swarzak was saddled with the loss after allowing six runs through two-and-a-third innings of duty. Minnesota jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first, but the Yankees responded by banging around Swarzak and taking a 6-4 lead in the second.
The Twins are at Tampa Bay for three games this weekend.
