MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Bucks forward Larry Sanders has been suspended two games without pay for starting a fight in last Thursday’s game at Indianapolis.
The NBA has ruled Sanders initiated the fourth-quarter altercation, then failed to leave the court in a timely manner when he had been ejected. Pacers players Danny Granger and David West were fined 25 thousand dollars apiece for the part they played in the rumble. Sanders will miss tonight’s game against New Jersey and Monday’s contest against Toronto.

Texas prep standout Aaron Durley won’t be joining the Marquette University basketball program next year. Durley has been released from the national letter of intent he signed. The 6-10, 270 pound center plays for Fort Bend Bush High School. He had signed with the Golden Eagles last November. Marquette coach Buzz Williams wished Durley “the absolute best” in his academic and athletic career while giving him the release he requested.
