Derek L. Donley, 18

Derek L. Donley, age 18, of Prescott died Sunday, April 22, at Gillette/Regions Hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident April 6.

Derek was born May 3, 1993, in Denver, Colo., to Troy Donley and Veronica O'Brien. He returned to this area in August of 2010. He graduated from Prescott High School in 2011. He was employed by Boulder Hills Landscaping of River Falls.

He is survived by his mother, Veronica (Andrew) Kier; sister, Stephanie O'Brien of Denver; one brother, Jared Lee Hollibaugh Donley of Yatesboro, Pa;, grandparents, Jim and Angie Donley of Diamond Bluff, Wis., Pam and Ronny Johnson of Ellsworth, Wis., and Jack and Ann O'Brien of Texas. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Donley.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. May 5, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, with visitation 1 hour prior.
