RED WING—Family and friends are planning a benefit for Sue Stewart, who suffered a severe stroke in September of 2011.
The event will be held this Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the American Legion in Red Wing.
The event will include paddle and bucket raffles, silent auctions (including an autographed Green Bay Packers football) and “big” prize raffles including a ¼ processed beef with a large chest freezer, $500 cash and a certificate for a pair of Red Wing Shoes.
There will also be mini-musical jam sessions and a bake sale. Pork and turkey sandwiches will be served starting at 1 p.m. until gone for a suggested donation of $5.
Monetary donations can be made at the Red Wing Credit Union, 3303 N. Service Rd., Red Wing, MN 55066. Checks can be made payable to Sue Stewart Benefit.
