MINNEAPOLIS - The Denver Nuggets rolled over the Timberwolves 131-102 in the season finale last night at the Target Center.
J.J. Barea led the Wolves with 20 points and five assists, Nikola Pekovic added 18 and ten rebounds and Michael Beasley scored 13 points. Fourteen-year veteran Brad Miller played his final NBA game for Minnesota last night, hitting a three-pointer and dishing out four assists.
The Wolves finished the 66-game season with a 26-40 record. They went 5-21 after point guard Ricky Rubio suffered a season-ending knee injury in early March and center Kevin Love didn't play the last few games due to a concussion. A number of free-agent players likely won't return to Minnesota next season.
