For what it’s worth, the Ellsworth Public Library and Ellsworth Sesquicentennial Committee are hosting an appraiser of antiques and collectibles next month.

And--who knows?--it could be worth a lot. Because the items the public brings to the Ellsworth High School Cafetorium on Sunday, June 3, may have more value than just sentimental.

“There won’t be any charge for the appraisals,” Library Director Shelley Anderson said Thursday. “The library and the sesquicentennial committee will pay the fees.”

A free will donation will be asked, however, during the appearance by appraiser Mark Moran of Iola, Anderson said.
