Wisconsin Sports-- Most of Wisconsin’s NASCAR drivers are in Richmond for a pair of races starting tonight.
RICHMOND, Va. - Most of Wisconsin’s NASCAR drivers are in Richmond for a pair of races starting tonight.
The Nationwide Series is up first, as the College Savings-250 will be run this evening. Beloit-born Danica Patrick is the only competitor with a Wisconsin connection.
In the Sprint Cup Series, Matt Kenseth of Cambridge is third in the point standings going into tomorrow night’s Capital City 400 at Richmond International Raceway. Travis Kvapil of Janesville and Paul Menard of Eau Claire are also entered. Qualifying takes place tonight.
The Camping World Truck Series is off until May 18th.
