Twentry-Four hours later the Cardinals secured their hold atop the Middle Border Conference with a 7-3 win over Baldwin-Woodville in a rescheduled game at Firehall Field.

A tender 1-0 lead was secured with a five-run fourth inning. All of the Blackhawks runs came in their last at bats.

Jake Hintz, however, went the distance to be the winning pitcher. He struck out six in a five-hit performance which allowed for just one walk.

Prescott's Brandon Keiper was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate while teammate Logan Johnson had two hits and scored twice. Billy Brookshaw also scored twice and Bryan Early hit two RBIs.

PHS completes the first round of MBC play with a 7-0 record. The Cardinals are 10-1 overall.
