Minnesota News Roundup: Vikings' stadium vote not on the agenda today
Minnesota News-- There are no votes scheduled today (Mon) in the Minnesota House or Senate on the Vikings stadium bill as legislators work to wrap up the session.
ST. Paul - There are no votes scheduled today (Mon) in the Minnesota House or Senate on the Vikings stadium bill as legislators work to wrap up the session.
It appears Republicans are trying to get Governor Dayton to make concessions on business tax cuts by trying to keep him guessing whether he'll get a Vikings stadium before lawmakers leave St.Paul. There are also hints that the vote count on the bill is shaky which might be a smoke screen. There are three possible outcomes: no vote on the bill or it passes or doesn't pass. Each has likely political repercussions not only for the fall election, but with the NFL as well.
