Vikings' stadium bill held up in legislative politics

ST. PAUL - A Minnesota Vikings stadium bill remains on hold at the legislature, and Republican leaders say that will remain until they get agreement with Governor Dayton on business tax cuts and a bonding bill.
House Speaker Kurt Zellers won't say what happens to the Vikings bill if they can't get a deal with Dayton on the other issues. But the governor says Minnesotans deserve an up-or-down vote on a Vikings stadium, not linked to anything else.
Lawmakers have until May 21st before they must adjourn the session, but also have only six days remaining when they can have floor sessions -- although that limit does not apply to committee meetings or negotiations with the governor.
