SOMERSET - Freshman pitcher Annie Pryor shutdown and shutout Somerset Monday afternoon in a Middle Border Conference softball contest in leading Prescott to a 1-0 win.
Pryor went the full seven innings allowing no runs or hits with three strike outs and six walks. The Spartans Somerset only had one runner reach second base.
Dani Augustine scored PHS's lone run off an RBI-single from Francine Gedatus.
The Cardinals improve to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in the MBC. They host New Richmond this afternoon at Biggs Field with the first pitch at 5 p.m.
