The game was moved from Ellsworth usual varsity field to where the JV plays due to wet field conditions. The game was called in the sixth inning due to a thunderstorm which rolled in.
Katie Deiss was the lone EHS player to make it on base due to an error in the bottom of the third inning.
B-W had seven hits led by Heidi Hinz's two. Teammate Hannah Borgeson hit a one-run double with two outs in the fourth to put the 'Hawks ahead 3-0. Katie Thompson sacrificed in a run.
Baldwin-Woodville stays unbeaten at 13-0, 9-0 in the Middle Border Conference while Ellsworth drops to 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the league.
