Paul Jurgensen’s back, only this time in east end, and bigger and better than ever with The Big Cheezy Restaurant, which officially opened late last month.

It’s been nine years since Paul Jurgensen has had a presence among Ellsworth’s dining establishments.
As locals may recall, Jurgensen was the force behind Jumpin’ Jurg’s, a coffee house and eatery in the village’s west business district operated until November of 2003. The Ellsworth native joined the restaurant scene here at the height of coffee places’ popularity, but as he admitted last week, “things change.”
Now he’s back, only this time in east end, and bigger and better than ever with The Big Cheezy Restaurant, which officially opened late last month.
