Ellsworth golfers compete in recent meets

Yesterday in Hammond, Bryce Stein finished with a 44 to lead the Panthers to a sixth place finish in a Middle Border Conference meet at Phesant Hills Golf Course.

The Panthers finished sixth with a score 182. New Richmond won the meet with a 154, Osceola took second with a 159 and Amery took third with a 165.

Chrystian Kulow shot 45, Brad Cain finished with a 46, Austin Manore shot 47 and Michael Tingelhoff had a 48.

Osceola’s Charlie Danielson and New Richmond’s Kyle Montgomery tied for medalist honors with 35s.

EHS had a better day Wednesday in Colfax. In the Colfax Invitational at Whitetail Golf Course the Panthers finished seventh out of 16 teams competing with the low score of 354.
