Ronald Johnson, 73

Ronald David Johnson, age 73, of Ellsworth, Wis., died May 3 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1938, to David and Isabelle (Larson) Johnson in Plum City, Wis. He attended Ellsworth High School. He helped out on the family farm until he became a truck driver. He retired from Knutson Trucking in 1991.

Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading, target shooting, and antiquing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime member at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Sheri (Bob) Raehsler, Kevin (Patty) Johnson, and Kurt Johnson; grandchildren, Jenna and Heather Raehsler and Travis, Kyle, and Amber Johnson; siblings MaryAnn (Paul) Janovec and Keith Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Ron will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Beldenville. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
