Minnesota News-- A 10-year-old boy died Friday evening near Goodhue after having a "medical issue" while climbing a tree, the Goodhue Count Sheriff's Office reported.
GOODHUE - A 10-year-old boy died Friday evening near Goodhue after having a "medical issue" while climbing a tree, the Goodhue Count Sheriff's Office reported.
Emergency crews were called to 33792 County Road 6 at 5:17 p.m. Family members performed CPR on the boy until emergency crews arrived at 5:25 p.m.
Crews continued CPR, but the boys died at the scene.
Goodhue First Responders, Goodhue Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Red Wing Ambulance and Mayo Helicopter all responded to the scene.
The boy's name is expected to be released Monday.
