Kenseth third at Talladega, now second in point standings

In NASCAR, Matt Kenseth of Cambridge took third yesterday in the Aaron's-499 at Talladega Alabama. Brad Keselowski won the race, and Kyle Busch placed second. Travis Kvapil of Janesville took 16th, and Paul Menard of Eau Claire finished 17th. Menard was done in when he and several other drivers were swept into a crash with nine laps to go. Five drivers, including Kenseth, took part in a final restart with two laps left. Kenseth had the lead when Keselowski and Busch pulled away. And then Keselowski pulled away from Busch to seal his victory. Kenseth rose two places to second in the Sprint Cup season point standings. He has 371 points, seven behind first-place Greg Biffle. Menard held steady at Number-14 in the point totals. Kvapil rose two spots to 32nd.
