Ellsworth golfers have best showing in home meet

Ellsworth High School's boys' golf team had its best score this spring in its lone home meet Monday afternoon.

Ellsworth High School's boys' golf team had its best score this spring in its lone home meet Monday afternoon.

The Panthers shot a combined score of 180 to finish fifth in the Middle Border Conference meet.

EHS's individual scores were Austin Manore and Bryce Stein both 44s, Chrystian Kulow 45, Mike Tingelhoff 47, Brad Cain 54.

Prescott's individual scores were Kyle Lubich 46, Nick Strandine 50, Niclk Helberg 51, Alex Stuhl 58, Jordan Koski 57

The team scores were Osceola 160, Somerset 167, New Richmond 172

Amery 173, Ellsworth 180, Durand 183, Prescott 195 and Baldwin-Woodville 200. Osceola's Charlie Danielson won the meet with the low score of 37.

The next and final regular season MBC meet is Friday at Amery.
