Western Wisconsin News-- Authorities in northwest Wisconsin are investigating a one-car accident that killed a senior at Grantsburg High School.
GRANTSBURG - Authorities in northwest Wisconsin are investigating a one-car accident that killed a senior at Grantsburg High School.
Burnett County sheriff’s deputies said 18-year-old Tessa Leffelman was driving south on a town road about two miles east of Grantsburg, when the car left the road and overturned. Leffelman died at the scene, and no one else was in the auto.
The crash happened about one yesterday morning. Investigators said excessive speed was an apparent factor.
