Ellsworth Ambulance service hosts open house
The Ellsworth Ambulance Service will host an open house this Saturday in honor of National EMS Week which continues through Saturday, May 26.
The Ellsworth Ambulance Service will host an open house this Saturday in honor of National EMS Week which continues through Saturday, May 26.
The service reminds the public that, as the weather warms, activities rise. Biking, in-line skating and swimming are all popular warm weather activities.
Over 17,000 people died in 2010 of unintentional injuries. A safe summer starts by wearing safety equipment, knowing the rules of the road and never swimming alone.
Members of the service are: Peter Brooks, director; Gerald Baggenstoss, Jessica Brickner, Connie Burgess, Corey Catt, Steve Cummings, Levi Dahling, Chris Fellman, Spencer Fobbe, Scott Fuchs, Derek Greske, Lindsay Johnson, Dave Kidd, Lauren Laustemeier, Tom Knutson, Donna Larson, Dan Morth, Leroy Peck, Cody Polivka, Mitchell Rhiel, Danielle Rieck, Amanda Samuel, Pat Schultz, Dylan Snow, Matt Stress, Jennifer Walker and Scott Walker, paid on-call; Bill Brookshaw, Cassidy Beard, Natalie Kranig and Christian Meyer, probationary; and Brian Nodle, Matthew Simpson, Sandy Bjork and Robb Sherman, full-time.
The service will be giving pet CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) classes. More information will be available.
