EHS's Hoisington impressive in shutout win over Durand

ARKANSAW - Ellsworth freshman Serena Hoisington turned in an impressive start Thursday in a 7-0 victory over Durand.
Hoisington took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and struck out six to pick up the win for the Panthers. Hoisington gave up just one hit in five innings and walked one.
Ellsworth (14-4, 11-3 Middle Border) gave Hoisington run support early with a four-run first inning. Mariah Diercks finished 3-for-4 with three RBI while Riley Harrison drove in two runs and Halle Hatch went 1-for-3 with two runs.
The Panthers will face No. 1-ranked Baldwin-Woodville Monday in Baldwin.
