BLOOMER - Ellsworth rallied from an early deficit Friday to beat Bloomer 9-4.
The Panthers (15-4, 11-3 Middle Border) came back from a 4-1 deficit in the fifth inning to take a 5-4 lead and took control of the game in the sixth with three runs. Ellsworth tacked on a run in the seventh and finished with 11 hits.
Bloomer had four hits in the game but still got out to a 4-1 lead through the first four innings.
Dennis Schutz had two hits and drove in four runs for the Panthers and Brandon Voelker also had two hits. Schutz and Jacob Betthauser had triples and Betthauser had three stolen bases.
Isaac Hines picked up the win in relief of Travis Kroll. Hines threw 3 1/3 innings and had one strikeout.
