SPRING VALLEY - The Spring Valley/Plum City win-streak continued Friday as the Cardinals blanked St. Croix Central 3-0 at home.
SV/PC has won three games in a row, all coming throughout the week.
Winning pitcher Rachel Samdahl struck out 12 in a five-hit performance.
The Cardinals were led in hitting by Nevada Schlegel and Emily Hofacker, both with two hits apiece. Schlegel had two doubles and two RBIs while Hofacker hit a double and drove in a run.
SV/PC plays its final regular season game Monday at Glenwood City.
