Student hit by train dies in Aurora
Minnesota News-- Counselors, clergy and mental health professionals are being made available this week at Mesabi East High school following the death of a student.
AURORA, Minn. -- Counselors, clergy and mental health professionals are being made available this week at Mesabi East High school following the death of a student.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says Cole Packa was on his way to school when he was struck by a Canadian National train. Packa was attempting to cross the railroad tracks at an undesignated area near Main Street in Aurora.
It's unclear if he may have been distracted from listening to music The accident is still under investigation. This is the second fatal train accident in Aurora this year.
