TO THE EDITOR: I was brought up during Hoover’s administration. I was raised by a strict mom and dad. We had many do’s and don’ts, but the worst thing we could do was steal.
There are many ways to steal. One can steal a person’s reputation. One can steal a person’s job. One can steal a person’s husband or wife. One can steal a person’s children.
One can steal a person’s money. One can steal a person’s ID. One can steal a person’s freedom. One can steal a person’s vote by greed. Then one not only steals some of the person’s freedom but also steals the person’s job. One is also stealing money from the county.
This is why I believe that the recall election is nothing but greed which causes stealing. I hope that some people will believe that stealing is wrong before someone steals their freedom.
