Volunteer Awards
The Prescott High School Volunteer Group Awards have been presented. This year, 79 students participated in the Volunteer Group and collectively volunteered 468 hours. These students volunteered throughout the school year within Prescott and in the metro area, assisting with anything from environmental projects to doing crafts with patients at Gillette's Children's Hospital to raking lawns for senior citizens in Prescott. The Top Ten Volunteer Group Winners - (top row - left to right) are: Jaime Nitz, Katie Mutschler, Melissa Wudarski; (bottom row) Cameron Cruz, Courtney Brinker, Elissa Koele, Sara Deaton, Emily Gordon. Missing: Hannah Lassen and Sadie Cunningham. The Volunteer of the Year is Elissa Koele.

In recognition of the importance of volunteerism, members of the Prescott Lions Club sponsor the Prescott High School Volunteer Group Award Ice Cream Party each year.
