GREEN BAY - The U.S. Coast Guard reports it rescued two adults and two children yesterday afternoon after their boat capsized near Long Trail Point on Green Bay.
At the time, high winds were causing chopping conditions on the water, but it’s not clear if that caused the boat to tip over. Nearby boaters helped rescue the four people in the water. All had their life jackets on.
With more windy weather expected today, the National Weather Service has a small craft advisory in effect for all of Green Bay and for the Lake Michigan shore. Waves of two to four feet are expected on Memorial Day.
