Wilson in 11th after first round of The Memorial
Wisconsin Sports-- Pewaukee native Mark Wilson is tied for 11th place after the opening round of the PGA’s Memorial Tournament.
DUBLIN, Ohio - Pewaukee native Mark Wilson is tied for 11th place after the opening round of the PGA’s Memorial Tournament.
Wilson shot a two-under par 70 yesterday at Muirfield Village. He’s four strokes behind first-round leader Scott Stallings. The tournament’s defending champion, Steve Stricker of Madison, is tied for 55th after shooting a one-over-par 73.
Jerry Kelly of Madison is tied for 88th after going three-over. Phil Mickelson withdrew after going seven-over. He cited fatigue and poor hitting. And Mickelson said he needed to rest up for the U.S. Open which starts two weeks from yesterday.
