MILWAUKEE - The suddenly-hot Pittsburgh Pirates pounded lefty Randy Wolf for six runs in a big third-inning rally, cooling off Milwaukee in an 8-2 romp.

The Brewers were coming off a four-game sweep of the team with the best record in the major leagues, the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kevin Correia picked up his second win for the Pirates who have been victors in six of their last seven games.

Wolf took the loss. Corey Hart hit his 11th home run in the defeat and Nyjer Morgan also hit the ball out of the park. Morgan’s homer ended his record-setting streak of at-bats at the start of a season without a run batted it. He had come to the plate 138 straight times without knocking a teammate in.

Ryan Braun had to leave the game in the eighth inning after aggravating his Achilles injury.
