Lynx now 6-0 after topping Connecticut 85-72

Uncasville, CT (Sports Network) - Seimone Augustus scored 23 points and the Minnesota Lynx stayed perfect with an 85-72 victory over the previously unbeaten Connecticut Sun.

Rebekkah Brunson added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Lynx (6-0), who are off to their best start in franchise history. Monica Wright tallied 13 points.

Minnesota also extended its franchise-record road winning streak to eight games.

Tina Charles ended with 20 points and 12 boards for the Sun, who fell to 3-1 on the year. Renee Montgomery and Kara Lawson donated 16 and 14 points, respectively.

Holding a 74-70 lead with three minutes to play, the Lynx closed the game on an 11-2 run.
