Minnesota News-- Officials are looking at the possibility that a truck-sized air compressor might have exploded and caused Monday's huge fire at the Verso Paper Mill in Sartell.
SARTELL, Minn. - Officials are looking at the possibility that a truck-sized air compressor might have exploded and caused Monday's huge fire at the Verso Paper Mill in Sartell.
Crews are still putting out hot spots -- and Verso plant manager Matt Archambeau says about 100 employees have reported for work, assisting in recovery efforts.
Archambeau says some people are putting temporary power in place while others repair systems and lines. Fire crews have been on hand at the Verso plant removing debris and large paper rolls from the warehouse where fire still burns.
