TO THE EDITOR: Who says that President Obama hasn’t accomplished anything in his first term? Here are just a few of his firsts.
The first President to apply for college aid as a foreign student and then deny he was a foreigner.
The first President to have a social security card issued by a state in which he never lived. (Connecticut).
The first President to cancel our ability to put a man into space.
The first President in charge when the U.S.’s credit rating dropped below AAA.
The first President to mandate that all Americans purchase a product (Health Care), which is a violation of our Constitution.
The first President to violate the War Powers Act. (Libya and Egypt.)
The first President to be held in contempt of court for illegally prohibiting oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
The first President to spend one trillion of our dollars on “shovel ready” jobs when there was no such thing.
The first President to recommend changing our National Anthem because it contains violent speech.
The first President to cancel the National Day of Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
The first President to implement a “Cash for Clunkers” program, wasting millions of taxpayers’ dollars.
The first President to abrogate bankruptcy laws to turn over control of major corporations to his union backers. (GM and Chrysler.)
The list goes on and on. I could fill up this whole editorial page, but they won’t let me. I’ll have to save the rest for later.
