Ben Revere scored twice for Minnesota, which has won four of its last five and six of its last eight contests. Nick Blackburn gave up two runs in five frames for the win. Matt Capps notched his 14th save of the year. Yuniesky Betancourt drilled a two-run home run for Kansas City, which has lost three-of-five.

The Twins are off today.

The Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft came to a close yesterday with Rounds 16-40. The Twins selected Kentucky high school shortstop Will Hurt with pick 490. The Twins selected five catchers and 11 pitchers on the final day of the draft.
