Hubbers edge Hawks with rally in the ninth
Ellsworth won its first St. Croix Valley League game in its league home-opener Friday against Spring Valley.

The Hubbers scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth top beat the Hawks 8-7. Spring Valley still remains winless in league play while Ellsworth is 1-2.
Spring Valley will be at Prescott on Sunday. Other games this weekend are: Prescott is at Plum City, Bay City at Osceola and Hager City at St. Croix Falls this Saturday. Bay City is back home Sunday to take on Elmwood.
