Hager City nine edged by St. Croix Falls 4-3
It was weekend of setbacks for the Hager City amateur baseball team. On top of a 5-0 loss at Osceola Friday, their fortunes up the road in St. Croix Falls weren't much better.
ST. CROIX FALLS - It was weekend of setbacks for the Hager City amateur baseball team. On top of a 5-0 loss at Osceola Friday, their fortunes up the road in St. Croix Falls weren't much better.
The Skeeters were edged 4-3 by the Bandits Saturday afternoon, leaving their St. Croix Valley League record at 2-4 in the St. Croix Division
SCF started with four runs in the first but were held scoreless for the duration of the ballgame. HC plated three runs in the third but couldn't get the tying run despite outhitting the Bandits 8-7. St. Croix Falls won despite committing four errors.
