Plenty of award winners from Pierce County on All-District team
The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association's All-District 1 team is peppered with players from Pierce County, along with award winners as well.
The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association's All-District 1 team is peppered with players from Pierce County, along with award winners as well.
Prescott's Billy Brookshaw was named Player of the Year for the District and PHS assistant coach Duane Miller was named Assistant Coach of the Year.
Brookshaw made the first team as an infielder while Ellsworth's James Georgakas and Brady Schroeder were named first team as both a pitcher and utility player respectfully.
Making the second team were infielders Derrick Munsen of Prescott and Jake Betthauser of Ellsworth. Prescott's Bryan Early, Logan Johnson and Jake Hintz were all given honorable mention.
Four county players also made the All-District 1 team's All-Academic selections. They include Brookshaw, Early, Johnson and Prescott's Brandon Keiper.
