DeVol is a fourth grader at Malone Elementary School in Prescott. She was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, in April.
Her initial treatment plan includes chemotherapy every other week for 12 weeks, surgery and additional chemotherapy every other week for another 22 weeks.
DeVol has an older brother and sister as well as a younger brother. This journey has kept her away from friends and school, and her family has spent a great amount of time at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis with her.
More about her story can be found on her Caring Bridge page: www.caringbridge.org/visit/anyadevol.
