30-year-old Justin Patrick of Stillwater was also given a nine-month term in a county jail. He pleaded guilty in Polk County to criminal trespassing and fleeing police. Charges of kidnapping and stalking were dropped in a plea bargain.
Authorities said Patrick went into a house in Clear Lake last September and tried to get a juvenile girl to leave with him. And when that didn’t happen, he entered into a chase with officers when he tried to stop his vehicle. Police set up spikes for Patrick to drive over – and he lost control of his car and went into a ditch on Interstate-35 in Chisago County Minnesota. There, he was sentenced to six months in jail for fleeing officers.
