Strickler's 68 second round moves him up in U.S. Open
Wisconsin Sports-- Wisconsin golfer Steve Stricker shot a two-under par 68 Friday to move several slots closer to the top at the U.S. Open, being played at the Olympic Club.
SAN FRANCISCO - Wisconsin golfer Steve Stricker shot a two under par 68 Friday to move several slots closer to the top at the U.S. Open, being played at the Olympic Club.
Stricker is still four over par for the first two rounds, good for a tie for 18th. He trails three golfers who are tied for the top spot by five shots. They are David Toms, Jim Furyk and Tiger Woods.
Pewaukee native Mark Wilson missed the cut.
