MINNEAPOLIS - Ryan Braun pounded two home runs to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 6-2 victory over Minnesota last night.
Braun is hitting .515 in eight interleague games, with five home runs and 14 runs batted in so far. Michael Fiers started and went seven good innings to pick up his second win. Fiers allowed four hits and one run, walking two and striking out five. Norichika Aoki, Aramis Ramirez and Rickie Weeks all added a pair of hits. Ramirez and Cody Ransom hit home runs to help the Brewers inch back to with five games of the .500 mark. Liam Hendricks took the loss for the Twins.
Zack Greinke tries to break his road jinx today when the Brewers try to win the rubber game of the three-game series at Target Field. Nick Blackburn starts for Minnesota.
