TOWN OF TRIMBELLE MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES

TOWN OF TRIMBELLE

May 7, 2012 7:00 p.m.

MONTHLY MINUTES: The monthly meeting for the Town of Trimbelle was called to order by chairperson Jim Harris. Roll call by the clerk with all the board present. Minutes of the last board meeting were read by the clerk. Motion to accept minutes by Ron Johnson. Seconded by Richard Leonard. Motion carried.

Chris and Heidi Gutting attended the meeting representing residents on 640th Avenue from County Road J to County O regarding the traffic speed on this road. The Town Board will put additional signs up now and will send a letter to the Traffic Safety Commission requesting they look into the speed limit on 640th Avenue between Cty Road J and County O.

Richard Leonard made a motion to grant the request from Dan and Theresa Thorn for a Land Use Permit to construct signs for their two businesses(Melstrom Towing and Thorn's Crane Service) Seconded Ron Johnson. Motion carried.

Ron Johnson made a motion to increase the patrolmen wages 2% for each year with the rest of the contract remaining the same. Dave Johnson - 2012 (21.89)-2013 (22.33).Kevin Johnson - 2012 (22.27) - 2013 (22.72). Seconded by Jim Harris. Motion carried.

Second Reading of

ORDINANCE 2012-1

ORDINANCE TO EXTEND TOWN OFFICER TERMS IN

RESPONSE TO ELECTION LAW CHANGES. Ron Johnson made a motion to adopt Ordinance 2012 -1. Seconded by Richard Leonard. Roll call vote - Jim Harris (yes), Richard Leonard (yes), Ron Johnson (yes). Motion carried.

Second Reading of RESOLUTION 2012-1 FEES FOR BUILDING PERMITS AND OTHER PERMITS. Ron Johnson made a motion to adopt Resolution 2012 - 1. Seconded by Richard Leonard. Roll call vote - Jim Harris (yes), Richard Leonard (yes), Ron Johnson (yes). Motion carries.

Correspondence was reviewed and discussed.

Richard Leonard made a motion to pay the bills. Seconded by Ron Johnson. Motion carried. *

Ron Johnson made a motion for adjournment. Seconded by Jim Harris. Motion carried.
