Prescott man who lost his wife in car accident files suit against other driver
A man who was injured and whose wife died after they were struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Prescott on a Sunday morning has filed a lawsuit against the driver and his insurance company.
A man who was injured and whose wife died after they were struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Prescott on a Sunday morning has filed a lawsuit against the driver and his insurance company.
Harvey Brown, Prescott, filed suit against Heath R. Gutting, Prescott, and Progressive Northern Insurance Company, Madison.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 15, 2010, shortly after 10:30 a.m., Harvey and Margaret Brown were hit by a vehicle driven by Gutting as they walked across Broad Street.
Margaret Brown died in the accident, and the suit says Harvey Brown suffered multiple and permanent injuries.
Brown is seeking payment for loss of society and companionship and for past and future pain, medical expenses and loss of earnings.
