A benefit for LaVone Kay, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, will be Sunday, June 24, at the Elks Club in Red Wing.
The Toast to the Ta-Tas event will be 2-5 p.m. and feature food, cash bar and musical entertainment by "Siouxie West" and silent auctions.
Kay, an Ellsworth High School graduate, is the Marketing Director for The Commemorative Air Force Red Tail Squadron, which honors the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen from World War II. Her organization has generously donated a ride on a "Red Tail" Mustang P51-C airplane out of St. Paul this September during the live auction.
It was also announced bras will be collected to create a banner to be hung throughout the Elks Club the night of the event. Bras can be donated at Bella Casa Interiors, 419 Main St., in Red Wing.
