PHS's Brookshaw first team All-State, EHS's Georgakas and Schroeder HM

Prescott High School baseball player Billy Brookshaw made first-team all-state as chosen by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Ellsworth's James Georgakas and Brady Schroeder were given honorable mention.

Prescott High School baseball player Billy Brookshaw made first-team all-state as chosen by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Ellsworth's James Georgakas and Brady Schroeder were given honorable mention.

Brookshaw is a senior infielder and pitcher who helped the Cardinals win the state championship. He had a season batting average of .506. Brookshaw is from the smallest school on the first team.

Georgakas and Schroeder, both pitchers, received honorable mention. Georgakas, a junior, compiled a 9-1 record with 1.17 ERA. Schroeder, a senior, also an outfielder, had a .347 batting average.
