ELKART LAKE - For the first time Beloit-born driver Danica Patrik actually has a bit of an experience edge on her NASCAR rivals.
The Nationwide Series comes to Road America in Elkhart, Wisconsin, for the Sargento 200 today. Patrick says she doesn’t necessarily like road courses like the four-mile road course here, but her background in the IndyCar series means she’s done a lot of more of that kind of driving than the others.
Today’s race starts at 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
