Western Wisconsin News-- Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says he will wait until next week to visit flood-ravaged Superior.
SUPERIOR - Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says he will wait until next week to visit flood-ravaged Superior.
Wallker says he doesn’t want to interfere with the storm recovery efforts. The governor is planning to travel to northwest Wisconsin Tuesday morning to take a closer look at the flood damage caused by heavy rains Tuesday and Wednesday.
He’s already talked to Superior Mayor Bruce Hagen about the storm damage, saying the state will determine what resources it can offer after damage assessments are done.
