TO THE EDITOR: Hate to tell you, Mark, but President Obama and Hollywood did not invent homosexuality.

Also, there is no homosexuality agenda. It is neither unnatural or immoral. These are the words from whatever church you attend or the Bible you read, which, believe me, do have an agenda.

Most people never pay attention nor do they need to sit and think about which sex they are interested in when they mature. That is because it is already within us and was there at the time of our birth. Funny how something that is there at birth, probably placed by that God that you are so eager to quote, makes so many people uncomfortable.

It is estimated that as high as 20 percent of the human race is homosexual and it has been documented since the time writing began and we were able to read. Homosexual couples want the same things as all other couples—equality with heterosexual marriages.

There is no attacking and destroying of religious freedoms in this country. Your churches continue to be tax-free and you can attend church whenever you wish. What you cannot do is force your views onto other people.

Marriage was designed by man, not by God. It requires a license from the government, not from any church. What do you plan to do with the mountain of evidence of a genetic component to homosexuality?
