With no particular career goal in mind, Randy Lindquist entered the working world in the late 1980s and proceeded to hold a variety of jobs.
Lasting as long as any of them was his stint as a wastewater plant operator in Hammond, Lindquist said Wednesday. It’s employment from which he’s transitioned into the plant superintendent position at the West Central Wisconsin Biosolids Facility in Ellsworth, succeeding Sam Warp.
“I was kind of a jack-of-all-trades,” he said, comparing the two posts. He was responsible for submitting weekly wastewater samples and monthly water samples previously, for example; now, his duties are more administrative, he explained.
