MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks number 14 overall pick of John Henson has more than one analyst commenting about the North Carolina player's slender build.
The 6-foot-11, 220-pound - 21-year-old knows he needs to muscle up to contend. Although he leads the school in shots blocked per game, his offensive skills are questionable, especially at the free throw line where he shot just over 48 percent for his career. Henson was seen as a top-10 pick going into the draft.
The Milwaukee Bucks pick up shooting guard Doron Lamb with their second round pick. The 42nd overall selection in the draft is a 6-foot-4, 210-pounder who played two seasons at Kentucky. He averaged 14 points and shot 46-point-six percent from three-point range last season as the Wildcats won the national championship. Lamb ranked second on his former team in scoring.
Marquette University's Jae Crowder was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the 34th overall pick in the 2nd round and then traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Marquette teammate Darius Johnson Odom was selected by the Mavs as the 55th pick then traded to the Lakers. Wisconsin guard Jordan Taylor was not selected.
